Learn, grow, eat, repeat
Learn more about local healthy food with the Erin Mills Community Garden. Our site, at 2475 Eglinton Ave West and the corner of Erin Mills Parkway, has a number of wonderful features to enjoy. Come check out our communal and individual plots, pollinator beds, natural sand box, and living willow dome!
COMMUNITY GARDENING OPPORTUNITIES
We offer organic gardening opportunities (individual plots available).
Join us at garden work bees by contacting us.
Individual plots are also available on a first come first served basis. A plot costs $25 and members do 2 hours of community site work per month (12 hours per season). Plots are ~40 sq feet. I’d like to join.
What we have to offer - for plot holders and other volunteers:
Healthy soil and amendments; water; a community shed; some tools; some seeds; a network of volunteers; 20+ years of community development, organic farming and permaculture design skills and experience; + lots more.
Who our volunteers are:
Food growers, gardeners and/or urban farmers; people willing and able to work with others and contribute to the whole; people interested in growing food and communities; farmers; students and practitioners of permaculture.
